Tali tallies the chapter

31 March 2010

By Tali Spink (sub for Paul White)

Hi everybody, my name is Tali Spink, I'm a NLP Master Practitioner / Coach and this is my first blog.

Elizabeth passed the whip to Stephanie who gave us very enthusiastic demonstration of how to use it. She used to ride in her younger years and yes we all agree Stephanie seems very prepared. Elizabeth is moving on to her next chapter and she will be missed but wanted to remind us that she is still looking for John as Givers Gain!
Farewell Elizabeth and Welcome Stephanie.

Here are my observations in the morning meeting dated 31st March 2010:

Richard Loren, an Architect from Loren Design Ltd., welcomed us then mentioned he is looking for small hotels who want to renovate.

Peter Tattersall, Managing Director from Tattersall Training, who loves coffee, mentioned the High Standard of Training Staff on par with John Lewis and Waitrose. (Peter, I will get back to you on the 4th Level of Coffee!)

Cheerful chap Conrad Swailes, also a visitor and CEO of WebOptimiser.com, is looking for up and coming musicians who want a digital future.

Tali Spink, (yours truly) subbing for Paul White, a Will Writer from Will Time,  who is in Australia tackling nail-piercing spiders. I walked around and reminded everyone how dangerous holidays can be. Who do you know who is about to embark on a holiday of a lifetime?. "Leave it to us to leave it to them", as Paul would say.
I recall when I worked on cruise ships we had a fridge on board specially for people who passed away.

Mads Nybo Jorgensen, Video Production from Mac Millon Ltd., did 12 hours of video footage for JP Morgan and 23 videos for Mortgage brokers. He was also given a Top Gear STIG chocolate egg by Sue Terpilowski.

Mel Kenny, an independent financial advisor from Radcliffe & Newlands, reminds us there is not much time to sort out your ISA's. House wives/husbands get in touch on getting a better rate and save yourself from retirement on pedigree chum.

Lisa Kent, Personal Trainer from LK Personal Training, is looking for people who want to take part in the "Race For Life". She will make sure you are fit and ready.

Sarah Lloyd-Hughes, a Life Coach, is looking for the Techy Geeky Managers who need Confidence or Public Speaking Skills.

Stephanie Lunn,  HR Services from Ramsay Lunn HR, won last weeks 60 second advertising tag line.
Having already done a successful job for Yahoo in Switzerland, Stephanie is looking for a referral for Expedia to do something similar.

Fiona Naysmith, Recruitment Specialist from Smith & Cameron Recruitment, reminds us to send any recruitment needs to her. She specialises in "providing administration and office support recruitment solutions".

Barry Neil, IT Support from Ambient Computer Services, with his great London accent said he is the AA of the computer world.

Adrian Nettleship, an in-house photographer from Adrian Nettleship Photography, is looking for newly-signed bands that need their promo photos taken.

Richard O'Brien, a Commercial Insurance Broker from Ross-Gower Ltd., shows us how complex the insurance game can be but, as Fiona mentioned, once handled by Richard he makes the process easy and gives you a great deal.

Alan Patient, an Accountant from Alan Patient & Co, tells us that, "there is a block of penguins heading for London" and "it is not what you earn but what you keep that counts".

Builder, Benedict Pippet, from Arbor Contracts Ltd., is looking for anyone who is thinking about a Glass Extension. Benedict recently did a refurbishment for Linky Trott,  Employment Lawyer from Edwin Coe LLP. Linky mentioned that was happy to hand over her keys while she carried on with her day. She was delighted with Benedict's high-level building and fantastic team.

Marion Brooms, a Mortgage Broker from Keys2Finance, brought us lovely Daffodils from her garden to remind us of Spring and how, like flowers, mortgages can differ.

Dexter Coles, a Printer from SP Litho, is looking for any political parties who might need flyers printed.

Sean Daly, CCTV & Security from Access International Security Ltd., was subbed by Gareth Mann.

Daniel Fealy, a Plasterer and Dry Wall Specialist from OP Drywall Ltd., reminded us that, "If you want to get plastered, come and see me!

Malcolm Forbes, Web Designer from Regenesys Ltd., said "turn YouTube into Our Tube from just £30 a month."

Sue Terpilowski, Marketing/Corporate Design from Image Line Communications, closed with a lovely quote to ponder, "The work you do becomes you"

Tali Spink, an NLP Master Practitioner / Business Coach, spoke about how I guide people on making goals and success training by inspiring thought and progression. If what you are doing isn't working, do something different! was my slogan for the morning.

Wrote: Right, I'm trying this again, because for some reason my blog posts weren't getting through last week. What I wanted to do was complement Tali on the comprehensiveness of her blog post, pointing out that looking clever is but one of the many functions of a blog. I also believe I expressed my hope that the Penguins arrived safely - a detail which had traveled into my memory and entirely out the other side when Alan putatively mentioned flying penguins that morning. Or is this some sort of test?
Complain about this blog?
